some of my favourite websites

People who write inspire me. Because I like to write.

I follow a bunch of blogs of people who write. Different styles of writing. I love. And I learn. Daily.

And through searching for those writer-type blogs, I’ve found some other blogs I love, some for reasons other than writing. All are amazingly creative, and inspiring, and each stands alone on it’s own merits.

And now I have a LOOOOOONG list of favourited blogs and websites that I frequent… so I figured I’d share. Here goes:

• You (probably. And if you don’t, you should) know I work with Sarah Wilson – I’m hardly quiet about how much I love it. And her. The woman is ah-may-zing. Truly. Generous beyond comprehension. Compassionate. Very thoughtful. And very REAL. And a genius writer. I love what she writes about. And how she writes. I’ve been following her blog for about eighteen months now. I’ve loved it since I found it. And now that I work on it, I love it even more. She makes life better.

• My friend Justin started this ‘not for profit’ a little while back… Red Eye Inc. He’s a genius. I love his heart, and what he does…. I pop over to his site randomly and get fired up. People are AWESOME.

• Because I love the ocean. Aquabumps is one of my favourite blogs. I subscribe to their daily photo (which I would recommend, except it does mean you sit at your desk looking at awesome photos of Bondi wishing you could jump out of the window and race down to the beach urgently. Be warned…)

• Peppermint Mag. Divine. Vintage. Organic. Recycled. FUN. I jump online to see what they’ve got going on every now and then… love it.

• I love taking photos. I follow a plethora of photography blogs. Pinterest.com is not a photography blog as such, but they have a photography section. And it is GORGEOUS. I nick photos from pinterest all the time. Check it out. Inspiring.

• For some funnies, check out Twaggies. Gives me the giggles all the time. Which is always fun! Because who DOESN’T love a visual!

• My gorgeous twitter friend Sarah in San Francisco has a beautiful blog called The Chocolate Fig - I love how she shares her thoughts on life around her recipes. And her food is GOOOOD! (I love her freezer fudge – delish!)

• I recently discovered Urban Walkabout. Which suits me and my new bike VERY much! Click on your suburb, and voila, tons of options! I like!

• AND!!! I fell into tumblr about a month ago, and with the help of my uber clever graphic design friend Em, I set up my tumblr. So if you tumble, find me there too so I can follow you!!
