You sow. You reap. It’s the way of the world. Law of nature.
In the obvious natural form. You sow apples, you reap apples. Oranges for oranges.
And then beyond the natural. Sow energy, you reap energy. Sow love, reap it.
People call it seedtime and harvest. Two things. But it’s also three things. As in: 1) seed, 2) time, and 3) harvest. Sometimes it takes longer to see the harvest. BUT IT ALWAYS COMES. It’s truly THE LAW. A physical one, and a spiritual one also.
So you sow when you have a seed. Same as in the natural. It’s hard to sow corn when you haven’t got any to sow. Same with love. Or faith. Or generosity. Or patience. And grace…
Grow them. Sometimes it takes a (frikkin) long time to see the harvest. BUT IT WILL COME. And then harvest them. And then sow them again so that there’s more to reap…
This is my prayer in the harvest
When favour and providence flow
I know I’m filled to be emptied again
The seed I’ve received i will sow [Brooke Fraser: Desert Song]
